Strawflower Garland Workshop
Join Laura Vincent, grower and floral artist for a wonderful crafting session as we make strawflower garlands to decorate your home this winter and festive season. These garlands look stunning hung from a mantelpiece, strung from a dark corner of the house or why not use to decorate your Christmas Tree for some extra fun, colour and festive cheer! The beauty of Strawflowers is their longevity, sturdiness and vibrant colours. This workshop includes all materials and a festive drink and sweet treat.

Music in the trees
Inspired by the idyllic landscape in the Tree of trees, ‘Music in the Trees’ aims to invite the very youngest children to connect with and make music, nurturing their innate musicality and delivering cultural artistic and creative experiences.
Starting from traditional tales and rhymes, and using the natural surroundings as a springboard, children will be exploring and creating sounds, listening to sounds and music, vocalising and singing, moving and dancing.

Toddler Club
Join Laura, Libby or Teresa in the Tree Thyme garden for weekly toddler club and spend time connecting with your child immersed in nature. Working with the seasons and traditions throughout the calendar year, we will explore a creative activity each week, gather for story time and simply just relax and enjoy the wonders of the garden.

Festive Wreath Workshop
Join Laura Vincent, grower and floral artist for a Christmas Wreath Workshop at the Tree Thyme Garden, where she will guide you through the process of crafting a festive wreath.
Built upon a handcrafted woven wreath base, made by Laura especially for the workshop, you will spend time getting creative with dried flowers, foliage and seedheads gathered over the course of the year, exploring colour and texture to create a joyful wreath unique to you.

Please note Saturday 6th December workshop will be part of our ‘Christmas in the Trees’ event. If you would like to enjoy this family event and bring your children along, there will be a Christmas crafting session for them with Libby and Teresa so that you are able to fully relax and enjoy making your wreath whilst they are entertained. There will then still be plenty of time to spend with your children and enjoy the music, food, visit from Father Christmas and artisan shopping experience!

Outdoor Yoga - Adult & Babies
Join Lottie for a unique flow class in the Tree Thyme garden - allowing time to move, rest and bond with your baby. These classes are also a great way to connect with others on a similar journey!
Lottie offers a warm and inclusive environment for her classes which are tailored for everyone, including the postnatal journey and pre-crawlers. Classes are recommended from at least 6-8 weeks postpartum.
Babies are welcome to feed, cry and be changed at any time during the class etc - it’s a very informal set up and we want you to feel relaxed and at home in our setting.

Outdoor Pregnancy Yoga
For mamas to be! Join Lottie in the Tree Thyme garden to connect with your baby, breath and body. Recommended from 12 weeks onwards. If you are completely new to yoga, please join after the first trimester.

Christmas in the Trees ~ Childrens Festive Crafting
Come along with the whole family for a festive afternoon, as we get into the spirit of Christmas in the Tree Thyme Garden.
Join Laura for a two hour festive wreath workshop, whilst Libby and Teresa entertain the children with Christmas crafts. There will be wooden toys for tiny tots, festive music, mulled wine, warm apple juice and hot chocolate plus homemade mince pies and sausages. To top it all there will be a special visit from Father Christmas, story time and a gift for every child. There will also be the opportunity to tick off some gifts on your list at our beautiful artisan Christmas shop.

Pizza Play
Every other Friday come along with your family to the Tree Thyme garden after school to unwind, decompress, shake the week off and step into the weekend. Run free through the trees, explore and enjoy a slice of homemade pizza. Any age welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Creative Printmaking
Join Laura in the Tree Thyme garden for creative printmaking workshops, exploring all that the space has to offer.
Time to wander and explore the garden, collecting the elements you would like to use. We will create botanical prints using various techniques including cyanotype nature prints, monoprints and ‘tatami-some’ (flower pounding) onto both paper and fabric. You will leave having learnt a new skill and take home a unique piece of art to frame in your home or gift to a loved one.
This is an adult workshop. Dates announced 2026.
