Join Laura for a beginner-friendly Jam Jar Flower Arranging Workshop in the grounds of the Tree Thyme Garden.

Learn how to select beautiful, seasonal blooms and foliage to help you create a stunning, wild and whimsical arrangement in a jam jar. Take home your own little jar of joy to place in a favourite spot in your home and celebrate the new skills you’ve taken away for future arrangements. It's the perfect mindful, creative escape, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All flowers have been grown by Laura locally on their family dairy farm, without the use of pesticides, in an organically aware environment.
Seasonal Jam Jar Arrangement Masterclass
Participants will learn core skills such as how to select a balance of focal, filler and foliage stems and how to condition your flowers for longevity. A simple and effective hand tie technique will be demonstrated, with tips and tricks on composition, interest and adding a touch of quirk, before taking a break for tea and coffee and a homemade sweet treat.
We will then spend the final hour selecting seasonal blooms from Laura’s cut flower buckets to create your very own hand tie bouquet, ready to place in a jar at the end of the workshop. There will be plenty of time to chat and we will also take a walk around the Tree Thyme Garden in all its early Autumn glory.
A truly peaceful escape from everyday life and a chance to unwind on your own or with a friend or family member. Everyone welcome!
